At Dr. Emily Women's Health Center, every fee is published upfront — no hidden charges, no surprises. Whether you're paying with insurance, Medicaid, or self-pay, you'll know exactly what your visit costs before you walk in.
Every procedure at our clinic is performed by a board-certified OB/GYN physician — never a physician assistant or nurse practitioner — in an AAAASF-accredited surgical facility. All surgical abortion fees include general anesthesia, lab work, and post-procedure care. Same-day GYN appointments and walk-in availability are offered for many services.
Insurance & Medicaid
We accept most major health insurance plans and Medicaid from all five NYC boroughs (Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island).
New York Medicaid fully covers abortion services — both medication and surgical — with no co-pays or cost-sharing for patients.

Important Note About Westchester Healthfirst: We accept Westchester County Healthfirst for general gynecological services only. This plan does not cover surgical abortions or the abortion pill (mifepristone/misoprostol) at our clinic. We do not accept any other Westchester County Medicaid plans. Payment Information
Payment is due in full on the day of your scheduled appointment.
We Accept: Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express (debit and credit), and cashier's check (cardholder must show ID).
Please Note: A 3% processing fee applies to all debit and credit card payments. This is a standard industry practice. Cash and cashier's check payments have no additional fees.
Abortion Services Pricing
Abortion Pill (Medical Abortion) — 5 to 9 Weeks
$600
Your fee includes everything needed for a safe, complete medical abortion:
- Two office visits (initial consultation and follow-up 7–14 days later)
- Two ultrasounds (one at each visit)
- All medications (mifepristone and misoprostol)
- One-on-one counseling with detailed instructions
- 24/7 staff support throughout your process
- Post-procedure care and follow-up
Additional fees that may apply:
- D&C if abortion pill is incomplete: $300
- RhoGAM injection (Rh-negative patients): $80 (mini dose) / $160 (regular dose)
Surgical Abortion — First Trimester
All surgical abortions are performed by a board-certified OB/GYN physician under general anesthesia. Your fee includes anesthesia, lab work, and post-procedure care.
- Up to 12 weeks: $600
- 12.1–13.6 weeks: $750
Surgical Abortion — Second Trimester
Same-day second trimester procedures are available depending on gestational age. All fees include general anesthesia, lab work, and post-procedure care.
- 14.0–14.6 weeks: $850
- 15.0–15.6 weeks: $950
- 16.0–16.6 weeks: $1,300
- 17.0–17.6 weeks: $1,500
- 18.0–18.6 weeks: $2,000
- 19.0–19.6 weeks: $2,600
- 20.0–20.6 weeks: $3,200
- 21.0–21.6 weeks: $3,700
Note: Procedures after 18 weeks require a two-day process. Cervical preparation (laminaria insertion) is performed on the first day, and the procedure is completed on the second day.

IUD (Intrauterine Device):

Nexplanon (Birth Control Implant):
- Nexplanon insertion (includes device): $400
- Nexplanon removal: $300
- Optional anesthesia: +$100
Other Birth Control:
- Depo-Provera injection: $35
Diagnostic & Screening Services
- Gynecological ultrasound: $120
- Colposcopy: $400
- Endometrial biopsy: $250 (optional anesthesia: +$100)
