Our Commitment to Transparent Pricing
At Dr. Emily Women's Health Center, we believe in complete pricing transparency. All fees are listed below with no hidden costs or surprise charges. Our prices are competitive with other quality providers in New York City, and we never compromise on safety or quality of care.
For patients without insurance, our fees are based on the type of service and length of pregnancy (for abortion services). All surgical abortion fees include general anesthesia and lab work.
Insurance Coverage
We accept most major health insurance plans and Medicaid from all five NYC boroughs (Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island). Many health insurance policies cover the full cost of abortion services and gynecological care.

Important Note About Westchester Healthfirst:
While we accept Westchester County Healthfirst for general gynecological services, this insurance does not cover surgical abortions or the abortion pill (RU-486) at our clinic. If you have Westchester Healthfirst and are seeking abortion services, please contact our billing department to discuss payment options.
Payment Information
Payment is due in full on the day of your scheduled appointment.

Credit Card Processing Fee:
All patients who pay with a debit or credit card will be charged a 3% processing fee to cover our credit card processing costs. This is a standard industry practice. Cash and cashier's checks have no additional fees.
Abortion Services Pricing
Abortion Pill (Medical Abortion)
5 weeks - 9 weeks: $600
Your fee includes:
- Two office visits (initial consultation and follow-up 7-14 days later)
- Two ultrasounds (one at each visit)
- All medications (mifepristone and misoprostol)
- Detailed instructions and counseling
- 24/7 staff support throughout your process
- Post-procedure care
Additional fees that may apply:
- D&C if abortion pill is incomplete: $300
- RhoGAM injection if you are Rh-negative: $80 (mini dose) or $160 (regular dose)
Surgical Abortion (First & Second Trimester)
All surgical abortion fees include general anesthesia, lab work, and post-procedure care.
First Trimester (up to 13.6 weeks):
- Less than 12 weeks: $600
- 12.1 - 13.6 weeks: $750
Second Trimester (14 weeks - 21 weeks):
- 14.0 - 14.6 weeks: $850
- 15.0 - 15.6 weeks: $950
- 16.0 - 16.6 weeks: $1,300
- 17.0 - 17.6 weeks: $1,500
- 18.0 - 18.6 weeks: $2,000
- 19.0 - 19.6 weeks: $2,600
- 20.0 - 20.6 weeks: $3,200
- 21.0 - 21.6 weeks: $3,700
Note: Procedures after 18 weeks require a two-day process with cervical preparation on the first day.

- Consultation: $80

Prenatal Consultation (Self-Pay Only)
⚠️ Ultrasound is mandatory at your first prenatal visit. No exceptions.
A sonogram is required before you can be seen by the physician. This is necessary to confirm how many weeks you are, verify the pregnancy is in the correct location, and establish your due date. Without this information, we cannot provide accurate prenatal care.
First Visit — $320 total:
- Physician consultation: $200
- Ultrasound (mandatory): $120
Return Visits:
- Physician visit: $80
- Ultrasound if clinically needed: $120 additional
Prenatal consultations are self-pay only. We do not accept Medicaid or insurance for prenatal visits. Payment is due at time of service.
Birth Control Services
IUD (Intrauterine Device):
IUD insertion: $1,000 (includes device)
Optional anesthesia: $100 additional
IUD removal: $350
Optional anesthesia: $100 additional
Nexplanon (Birth Control Implant):
Nexplanon insertion: $400 (includes device)
Nexplanon removal: $300
Optional anesthesia: $100 additional
Other Birth Control:
Depo-Provera injection: $35
Diagnostic & Treatment Services
Screening & Diagnostic:
- Gynecological ultrasound: $120
- Colposcopy: $400
- Endometrial biopsy: $250
- Optional anesthesia: $100 additional
- Blood work (Abbott): $45
Treatment Procedures:
- LEEP procedure: $800
- Cryotherapy: $400
- Optional anesthesia: $100 additional
Financial Assistance for Abortion Services
If you need help paying for abortion services, financial assistance may be available through abortion funds. These organizations can help cover some or all of the cost of your procedure.
